The great salespeople are willing to make uncomfortable and difficult calls.  They’re not just scooping the cream off the top.

Grant knows guys that appear great compared to industry standards because they know how to filter off the top so well and take all the good stuff.  BUT, they never reach their full potential.  They don’t make the call!

They don’t make the call!

And that’s the point here.  Grant’s not interested in being great compared to others.  Grant’s looking to fulfill his true potential.

How about you?

  • The GREATS know how to dig down PAST the cream and pull out the ugly stuff down at the bottom and make the call.
  • The GREATS know how to go get stuff nobody sees.
  • The GREAT know how to make the tough calls, the late calls, the rough calls.

Call the people that are insane, call the people that are whacked, call the people that are crazy, call the people that are cheap!

The GREATS know how to go in, insert themselves into that scene, WILLINGLY and find the deal.

The GREATS are willing to make the call to the people other’s refuse to call.They’re willing to get their hands dirty and not just look for the easy stuff.

When you make the call, you build a discipline with in yourself that can turn a no deal into a real deal.

The deals that everyone else gave up on, the GREATS can get!

  3. BE WILLING TO FIND THE UGLY DEALS!

If everyone else gave up, this is your opportunity to SHINE.  Getting these deals will mean more too.

CHALLENGE:  Find, dig in and make the call with 5 ugly deals this week.  The ones that seem impossible, the ones that other people gave up on.  Dig in and get them done.

Practice doing whatever it takes.

In order to make the call you need to know what to say and you have to be motivated.
