Great Salespeople Are Never, Ever Satisfied
The Great salespeople are never satisfied and they push themselves to the next level of production. Does this mean you can’t ever be satisfied? That’s exactly right.
Grant is challenging you right now to never be satisfied and to not allow the average, mediocre people of this world convince you to be satisfied, to settle and not be great.
You can never be great if you’re satisfied with good? How do you get to the next level if your OK where you’re at?
You want to not be satisfied. Always looking for the next level.
Great Salespeople Are Never, Ever Satisfied
Who are some of the greats you can think of? Do you know anyone who is like this now? Think about some of the people who are never satisfied. Come up with a list of 10 people who are proud of what they do and what they’ve done, yet no where near satisfied and are always looking to improve and reach another level.
What do all GREAT Salespeople all have in common? There is one trait that stands out and it is why they are never satisfied.
The GREATS work toward their potential. They do not compare themselves to others or to their past. Once they hit a target, they are looking for what’s next.
EXERCISE: Answer “the next level” questions:
- Where are you at right now?
- Are you operating at your highest potential?
- What would the next level look like for you?
- What are 5 things you’re not doing right now, that if you did do them, you’d reach your next level?
Can you use these answers to get motivated and inspired? Don’t get hung up on what others are doing. Stay focused on you and your potential. Be 110% honest with yourself and your personal ethics. As Grant says, “Success is your ethical duty, obligation and responsibility.”
Why be good when you can be GREAT?
CHALLENGE: After you’ve done the exercise above, make a commitment to implement the 5 things you’re not doing this week. Start working towards your true potential. This is not the time to back off on the gas. This is time to add wood to your fire. What happens when you don’t add wood to a fire? Now, here’s the bonus round that will add some serious wood to your fire. Every night right before going to bed, do one segment from 100 Ways To Stay Motivated.
