10 Reasons People Don’t Become Millionaires

Grant Cardone, paying a little tribute to Late Night with David Letterman, has compiled a list of the top 10 reasons people don’t become millionaires.  Knowing what not to do is equally as important as knowing what to do.  The real question is, what will you do with this list?  Because if you’ve already decided that becoming a millionaire or even a multimillionaire probably isn’t going to happen for you then this list is just a waste of time and space for you.  But on the other hand if you’re ready and willing to create your fortune, KNOW the information below.

10 Reasons People Don’t Become Millionaires

10. Entitlement — People feel they deserve money without earning it. Entitled people will never work hard enough to earn any real money because they feel things should be given to them.

9. Middle Class Mindset — People do “just enough” to get by and are satisfied making $50,000 a year. They own a home they’re handcuffed to and basically live paycheck to paycheck with 2 weeks of vacation a year.

8. Lack of Consistency — The rich make consistent routines in their life. A consistent approach starts with getting consistent in your day-to-day operations.

7. Normal Actions — Doing anything in life that society considers “normal” will only get you average at best. The rich take massive action.

6. Unwilling to Use Debt — The Dave Ramsey’s and Suzie Orman’s will tell you to save and not take on any debt. The rich have debt. I have a lot of debt. Not all debt is created equal so you must learn to identify good debt versus bad debt and then start using good debt to your advantage.

5. Wrong Vehicle — The rich get in with the right company where there is opportunity for growth. Too many people just look for a “job”. You need a job, but you need the right vehicle.

There’s no shortage of money, only of people thinking big enough.”  -Grant Cardone

4. Never Save — Nobody gets rich by saving, but you have to start saving in order to ever have anything to invest. If you spend everything you get, you will never get rich.

3. No Target — Most people don’t have an income target.  If you ask the average person on the street what their income target is they would likely have no response — besides the fact they might be offended about even talking about such matters.

2. Never Doing the Math — One of the biggest mistakes people make is that they never do millionaire math. You have to do the math.

1. No Sales Skills — The bottom line for most people is that they don’t know how to go out and get money. You can have anything you want in life if you just learn to sell.
