ENERGY: The Wednesday Word #WednesdayWisdom

This week, Energy, the Wednesday Word is something you have more of than you know and I’m going to prove it to you.

DEFINITION of ENERGY:

  • the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity.
  • power derived from the utilization of physical or chemical resources, especially to provide light and heat or to work machines.
  • PHYSICS:  the property of matter and radiation which is manifest as a capacity to perform work (such as causing motion or the interaction of molecules).

ETYMOLOGY of ENERGY:

mid 16th century (denoting force or vigor of expression): from French énergie, or via late Latin from Greek energeia, from en- ‘in, within’ + ergon ‘work’.

ACTION IDEA for ENERGY: 

How much energy do you have?  

There are 5000 calories in 1 pound of fat.  So for 200 pound human at 15% Body Fat that would equal 150,000 calories… on YOU!

Do you know the number of atoms in the human body?  It the number 7 followed by 27 zeros!  And what happens when you split atoms?  There’s enough energy in there to either power or destroy a city.

Example, if you had just ran a marathon and suddenly started getting chased by an angry mama bear, would you tap your reserves?  Yes.  Why?  Because your LIFE depended on it.

What does your life depend on now?

Why are you not tapping your energy?

Because you’re off purpose, your goals are misaligned with your daily activities and targets.  Make sure your daily actions are in line with your life purpose, goals and targets and you will have your energy back!
