Do you know what success is about?
Success is about the journey, not the destination. What if that cute little saying that dismisses the importance of success, was total garbage. What if instead of a journey, success was not only a destination but rather, a state over which you have control and responsibility.
You either create success or you don’t
Besides, success doesn’t happen for the whiners, crybabies, and victims. In Grant Cardone’s Strategy of the Week for the first week of May, Grant makes the case for success actually being about the destination and then goes on to argue that when people make success about the journey it’s because they have no idea where they are actually going.
Where are you headed and what journey are you on? Sure you can learn, grow and improve along the way but if you never arrive at your destination, what is the point of setting out on the journey in the first place?
Consider any success that has happened in the last one hundred years? Success for Gandhi, Mandella or MLK wasn’t NOT about the journey. Definitely measured by the destination. Flight, the moon landing, the automobile, the sound barrier, success is about the destination…
